"I founded this club to champion diversity, recognizing that it brings fresh perspectives, fosters understanding, and ultimately strengthens our community. From the LGBTQ+ community to our Allies, I truly believe there’s immense power in embracing our differences but also celebrating unity through the sport we all love—soccer. I love playing with our club members and seeing the connections they build, both on and off the pitch, as well as the many ways the sport has brought us together."

Football (soccer) has been my favorite sport since childhood. No matter where I was, as long as I had a ball and space to play, my friends and I were always on the field. I began as a goalkeeper, then moved to defense, and eventually became a midfielder — and it’s been an incredibly fulfilling journey to date. So much so that I’ve made it my mission to give back the knowledge I've gained to players. Since volunteering at NOVA Pride FC, I’ve always been eager to help others develop their skills. It’s been so rewarding to watch players grasp new concepts, apply them during games, have fun and improve over time. I absolutely adore my soccer family, and if you’re looking for a club to call home, come join us and let's have a good time on and off the pitch!

"I started playing soccer in the NOVA area as a way to make friends after recently moving here, and it’s been incredible to become part of such a welcoming soccer community. As the Director of Communications, I get to combine my passion for soccer with fostering connections within the club and our community at large. Sharing our journey and values through various media has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
When I’m not on the field or working with the team, I enjoy being social with friends, diving into anime, or exploring thought-provoking documentaries."

"I am a passionate advocate for creating supportive spaces where queer people can thrive. Over the years, I've worked in the service industry managing, planning and hosting events where I empower others to celebrate our community. I absolutely love bringing people together and I am beyond excited to add my experience to the NOVA Pride Board and help continue building our community.
When I am not cheering on our club from the sidelines, you can find me in a pilates class, traveling, reading a new book, writing poetry and just being outside with nature!"

I’ve been playing soccer since I was three years old, and it’s been more than just a sport to me—it’s a lifelong passion and a place I call home. Soccer has introduced me to incredible people and unforgettable experiences. It’s a space where everyone belongs, and that sense of community is what keeps me coming back.
After a two-year break, I was welcomed back with open arms by President Noobz, who reconnected me with fellow players and board members. That moment felt like stepping into a whole new world of soccer—one filled with support, friendship, and renewed excitement. I’m grateful for every person I’ve met along the way and proud to be part of a sport that continues to inspire and unite.
